Finex Credit Union in East Hartford has an exciting opportunity for Member Service Representatives to join our team. If you are a high energy person with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to learn quickly, this opportunity is for you. POSSIBLE PART-TIME REMOTE WORKING AFTER TRAINING.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Act as Call Center representative. Project professional image of Finex over the telephone. Answer questions about products and services and resolve issues or refer to other staff as needed. Turnaround times and Member Satisfaction are key success indicators. Also requires same excellence when answering member emails and voicemails. Ability to understand trends in our own process and make recommendations for change as needed is imperative. Participate in the reduction of member calls and complaints when possible.
  • Assist members with opening and closing accounts. Answer questions about products and services. Provide excellent service to all members, staff & associates, functioning as a team member. Participate in cross-selling initiatives.
  • Act as Video Teller as needed. Process teller transactions and answer questions about products and services. Provide professional, accurate and timely service to all members via Video media.

Job Requirements:

  • Preferable someone with banking experience
  • Candidates must demonstrate initiative, work independently, have the ability to communicate well over video and function well in a team-oriented environment.
  • Must be a fast learner and able to learn computerized video teller systems quickly.
  • Hours are Mon-Fri (8:45-4:30-except on Thurs until 6). Possible Sat hours 8:45-1pm

As a Video Teller, you will be the first point of contact for customers using our video banking services. You will assist customers with transactions, inquiries, and provide exceptional service through video conferencing technology. Your goal is to enhance customer experience by delivering efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate video banking equipment to facilitate real-time customer transactions and consultations.
  • Assist customers with a variety of banking transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, account inquiries, and loan applications.
  • Provide accurate information about bank products and services, addressing customer needs and concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to promote bank products and services based on customer needs.
  • Maintain a professional and welcoming demeanor, building rapport with customers through video interactions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to video banking equipment.
  • Collaborate with branch staff to ensure seamless customer service and support.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous customer service experience.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in learning video conferencing technology and banking software.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
